Don't ever..

Don't ever be reluctant
to show your feelings. When
you're happy,give in to it,
When you're not,live with it.
Don't ever be afraid to
try to make things better. You might
be surprised at the results.
Don't ever take the weight of the
world on your shoulders.
Don't ever feel threatened by the future.
Take life one day at a time.
Don't ever feel guilty about the past,
What's done is done.
Learn from any mistakes you might have made.
Don't ever feel that you are alone.
There is always somebody there
for you to reach out to.
Don't ever forget that you can achieve
so many of the things you can imagine...
It's not as hard as it seems.
Don't ever stop loving
Don't ever stop believing
Don't ever stop dreaming your dreams.

Happiness is like a butterfly,
the more you chase it,the more it will elude you.
But if you turn your attention to other things,
it comes and softly sits on your shoulder".
~~By Nathanial Hawthorne.~~
Love is like a butterfly,
it goes where it pleases
and it pleases wherever it goes.
If only we'd stop trying to be happy we'd have a pretty good time.
Till next time, be happy.:)

Stress Free in 10 minutes

Hi,everyone..finally,at the night hour of 940 PM,I decided to sit and type out this post, which has been waiting to be written since the last few days.

As I said on my main blog:
This blog is going to contain a collection of all my inspirations over the last few years-an article here,a tidbit there, a quote here, a story there-anything which inspired something in me, will form a part of this blog. So, here goes:
Stress free in 10 minutes:(This one came to me via email):

1. Do nothing:

At least once during the day, take 5-10 minutes to sit quietly and do nothing. Focus on the sounds around you, your emotions and any tension in your neck, shoulders, arms, chest, etc.

2. Laugh Out Loud:
Keep something handy that makes you laugh. It could be a collection of your favourite comic strips, or a funny email from, say, your child or a friend. You could even take a few moments to watch your favourite comedy serial. Turn to this ever so often during your day.

3. Tune in:
When you face a daunting task, play soothing music-be it classical,country,jazz,pop,rap..At work, use the CD drive on your computer to keep the music at your fingertips.

4. Think happy:

Focus on someone or something you care about deeply for anywhere from 15 seconds to 5 minutes.Or, picture a scene from a peaceful vacation.A phrase that makes you feel positive about yourself and the world can also work.

5. Hit the road:

Get up from your desk, the couch-wherever you may be-and take a 10 minute walk.

6. Breathe easy:

For 5 minutes, slow your breathing down to about 6 deep-belly breathings a minute. In other words, inhale for about 5 seconds, exhale for about 5.

7. Rise relaxed:

Right before bed and after the alarm goes off in the morning, take 5 minutes to relax your entire body. Begin by tensing your toes; consciously relax them.Move on to the muscles in your feet, and then your calves, upper legs, move upwards until you end up scrunching up and then relaxing the muscles in your face.
The tough part? Remembering these, especially when hard at work. What I did(and do) was to keep a copy of this under the keyboard-so, whenever I feel the strain beginning, out comes this page, I pick an activity and carry it out.(Except for the last one,of course)
