Happy Thoughts

I thought the list in the last but one post said a lot, but, I received an email, with some further tips to avoid hassles, specially at work. Here goes:

An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what
may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain.
Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.'

1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that
will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over
time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find
out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you
can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key
buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent
an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
16. Carry a religious book with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19 Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small
problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try
and pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is
often a good 'Thank you God '
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33 Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36 Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that
you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING
THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.
---------
There, doesn't that make a lot of sense in the context of our daily working lives?

Better Life Tips

Hi, all!Again, courtesy, Pravs. Don't think the list is too big and avoid reading it. Once you go through it, at least 50% will have made sense to you and will make you happy. Really simple things to do, yet, things that'd make a world of difference.

Tips for Better Life
1. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, smile.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
3. Sleep for 7 hours.
4. Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
5. Play more games.
6. Read more books than you did the previous year.
7. Make time to practise meditation, yoga, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.
8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6.
9. Dream more while you are awake.
10.Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

11.Drink plenty of water.
12.Try to make at least three people smile each day.
13.Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip.
14.Forget issues of the past. Don’t remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
15.Don’t have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
16.Realise that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
17.Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
18.Smile and laugh more.
19.Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don’t hate others.
20.Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

21.You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
22.Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present.
23.Don’t compare your life to others’. You have no idea what their journey is all about. Don’t compare your partner with others.
24.No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
25.Forgive everyone for everything.
26.What other people think of you is none of your business.
27.GOD heals everything.
28.However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
29.Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
30.Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.

31.Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
32.The best is yet to come.
33.No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
34.Do the right thing!
35.Call your family often.
36.Your inner most is always happy. So be happy.
37.Each day give something good to others.
38.Don’t over do. Keep your limits.
39.When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.
40.Don’t be more calculative in your life for all things.

There, wasn't it great? I read it through once more while giving each line a number, and it's amazing. Thanks,Pravsworld!

Success

Now,if only people would realize that, they might be able to give up their high ego levels, which lead to all the fights, tensions and arguments, wouldn't they? How often have we heard the dialogue' Do you know who I am?'..nothing puts me off more than hearing someone say that to someone they consider lower than their level.

As Time Changes

Isn't that just too,too true? We think of some people as being fickle-minded..people who're on your side one minute, and, flit over to the other, the other minute. Anything, as long as it suits their warped sense of what is right! Personally, I keep a watch out for such people, and, once I have a bad experience with them, it's simple- take everything they say with a pinch of salt or sugar, depending on whether they said something annoying or nice!!:)Have a lovely day, all!

World-mirror

Isn't that just soo well said? Everything around you is a reflection of you, your nature, how you look at the world. Indeed, positivity does beget positivity! For a day, just try to avoid anything even slightly negative(easier said than done,I know). I definitely will- and, will let you know the results tomorrow!Cheerio!
